Here’s a quick breakdown of each supplement and associated studies highlighting their potential benefits.

Colostrum

Colostrum is the first form of milk produced by a mammal (in this case bovine) after giving birth. The power of this natural food source resides in the unique benefits that it provides. Whether you’re dealing with chronic skin/autoimmune issues or are just trying to strengthen your immune system, the benefits of bovine colostrum are certainly worth considering.

Immune Support

-One of the most interesting  benefits of colostrum is that it contains immunoglobulins (IgG, IgA, IgM), which have a powerful ability to bind to toxins and bacteria. These antibodies are crucial in terms of preventing disease and infection and are not abundant in many other foods. Studies have shown that colostrum could also help heal leaky gut by decreasing gut permeability.

Iron Regulation

– Another amazing component of colostrum is that it contains lactoferrin, which is a major regulator of how well iron is absorbed into the body. Hindered iron regulation/absorption is one of the most pressing health issues we are facing in modern times. Finding ways to balance and detox heavy metals is a crucial piece in healing.

Muscle Growth/Repair

-Studies have shown that supplementing with bovine colostrum can have muscle growth/repair benefits. This is due to the fact that it contains growth factors like IGF-1 and is also very nutrient dense containing protein, fat, carbs, magnesium, B vitamins, and vitamins A, C, and E, etc.

Magnesium Glycinate

Magnesium is responsible for activating countless enzymes in the body. These enzymes serve as catalysts in initiating many important processes, including:

– ATP production
– heavy metal chelation
– vitamin conversion
– cholesterol regulation
– thyroid hormone conversion.

Unfortunately, due to depleted soil and an increased need for magnesium caused by stress and inflammation, it’s very difficult to get enough magnesium from food alone. Some may even say impossible. Taking magnesium glycinate daily is a great way to maintain optimal magnesium levels, which could lead to improved energy, sleep, cognitive function, inflammation, anxiety, circulation, skin health, and more.

Grass-fed Beef Liver

Referred to by many as “nature’s multi-vitamin”, grass fed liver serves as a potent source of essential nutrition to those who consume it.

– vitamins A, D, K
– B vitamins (1,2,3,5,6,9,12)
– choline
– copper
– selenium
– iron
– zinc
– and more

Whether eaten in whole food form or taken as a desiccated supplement, liver consumption has been shown to help maintain vitamin/mineral balance, which could lead to improved energy, sleep, inflammation, strength, anxiety, skin health, and more.
If liver is already a part of your diet, that’s awesome. This is a huge step in fulfilling the nutritional demand of your body.
But if you can’t stand the taste of it or you just don’t consume it regularly, consider our grass fed desiccated beef liver supplement.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E can prove to be a “missing piece” nutrient for many people as it serves as a powerful antioxidant (specifically in its relationship to polyunsaturated fats).⁣⁣ If you grew up eating a standard western diet, you’ve been poisoned to some extent by polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs) as the industries that we’ve entrusted with our health negligently turned to promoting vegetable/seed oils as a “healthy alternative” to ancestral saturated fat sources.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
But the truth is, the overconsumption of PUFAs (especially in the form of these toxic oils) has proven to cause lipid peroxidation in the body and break down our tissues (in part by depleting them of vitamin E).⁣⁣ There are two best practices that we should adopt in order to detox PUFAs from our tissues and reverse the damage/oxidative stress that they have caused:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
1. Displace polyunsaturated fats with saturated fats and eat more red meat, butter, raw milk, etc.⁣⁣

2. Supplement with vitamin E ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If you grew up eating a standard western diet and you aren’t doing these two things, I would definitely consider them as lipid peroxidation caused by PUFAs is one of the most pressing issues in modern nutrition. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
One potential issue with many vitamin E products is that they contain PUFA oils as a base. Our vitamin E product does not contain any PUFA oils and is made up of mixed tocopherols, which has been shown to be more effective in
⁣combatting oxidative stress than d-alpha tocopherol alone.
